During its third ordinary session, the Oran People's Provincial Assembly (APW) approved the preliminary budget for 2027, totaling over 4.7 billion dinars. The meeting reviewed a five-year progress report, addressing key projects such as the new city parking facility and the new port road. Progress on social infrastructure was also highlighted, specifically a center for individuals with special needs scheduled to open soon. Regarding urban development, the assembly discussed a master plan for eight municipalities to regulate city expansion. Furthermore, the status of land surveying in Senia, Kerma, and Sidi Chahmi was reviewed. To improve administrative efficiency, the 2027 budget includes the creation of 38 new job openings to bolster various provincial sectors.
