Algerian sports are mourning the loss of JS Skikda footballer Aymen Chehmat, who passed away yesterday after battling an illness. The club confirmed the news through its official channels. Chehmat had signed with the team last summer from JS Jijel and had participated in the initial training sessions at the 20th of August 1955 stadium. During a training camp in Bordj Bou Arreridj, the player suffered a health crisis that led to his hospitalization in Sétif, where he remained until his death. Following this tragic loss, the amateur football league announced the postponement of the fourth-round match between JS Skikda and Paradou AC.
