The Oran Provincial People's Assembly (APW) convened its third ordinary session, marking the conclusion of its five-year term that began in 2021. The session focused on several strategic files, primarily the approval of the province's preliminary budget for 2027 and the review of urban development master plans for municipalities including Oran, Bir El Djir, and Es Senia. Discussions also covered land surveying operations and the recruitment of 38 personnel for the 2026 fiscal year. Assembly President Mohamed Challabi highlighted the significant progress made in the region over the past five years. Oran Wali Ibrahim Ouchen and Secretary General Mohamed Megherbi emphasized the necessity of inter-institutional coordination to ensure the continuity of development projects and improve public service delivery for residents.
