The National Office of Meteorology has issued a weather alert for this Sunday, warning of heavy thunderstorms. A level-two alert covers Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbès, Saïda, Mascara, Aïn Témouchent, and Oran, where rainfall is expected to reach between 20 and 40 mm from 2:00 PM until 1:00 AM Monday. Simultaneously, the provinces of Naâma, El Bayadh, Béchar, and Béni Abbès are on alert for even higher volumes, potentially reaching or exceeding 50 mm. Furthermore, a level-one warning has been announced for numerous other provinces, effective from noon until midnight today.
