Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Mohamed Hattab, has issued new directives to shorten payment processing times for workers in the construction, public works, and hydraulics sectors. During an evaluation meeting regarding the National Fund for Paid Leave and Weather-related Unemployment, the Minister emphasized the need to improve service quality and simplify administrative procedures to ensure workers receive their benefits promptly, despite the mobile nature of their jobs. Hattab also called for enhanced efforts in collecting social security contributions from employers and highlighted the importance of digital transformation, including the expansion of online payment and declaration platforms. The initiative aims to strengthen social protection and ensure transparent management through proactive performance monitoring.
