Mohamed Amoura praised by coach despite Nice's defeat in Lyon

Despite OGC Nice's 2-1 loss to Olympique Lyonnais in the seventh round of Ligue 1, Mohamed Amoura was commended for his active performance. Leading up to the game, coach Olivier Pantaloni highlighted the dedication and high work rate of the Algerian international, who is on loan from Wolfsburg. Although Amoura started the match at Groupama Stadium, Nice failed to secure a result despite a spirited second-half push that saw them hit the woodwork and have a late goal disallowed. Pantaloni noted that while the 26-year-old is a key player, improving his physical conditioning will allow him to be more composed and effective in his attacking contributions.
