The forestry department in Mila province has launched the hunting season by designating 9 authorized zones for lease to eligible hunting associations across several municipalities, including Ferdjioua, Teleghma, and Rouached. Simultaneously, hunting has been prohibited in areas impacted by wildfires, such as Ras El Oued and Djebel El Halfa, pending the recovery of local ecosystems. Additionally, the department confirmed the successful training of 932 hunters through programs covering safety regulations, wildlife protection, and legal compliance.
