Work crews have launched a rehabilitation project in the Hadj M'barek neighborhood of Guelma, a residential area established in the early 1970s. The initiative focuses on repairing damaged roads and upgrading infrastructure before the arrival of the rainy season. Due to the narrow pathways and dense historical layout, specialized small-scale machinery is being used. This project addresses the long-standing concerns of local residents who have faced infrastructure decline for years. These older districts account for nearly half of Guelma's urban area and present significant planning challenges. Additionally, the neighborhood is undergoing land regularization under Law 15/08, providing residents with the opportunity to secure property titles and obtain permits for building renovations.
