Police forces from the 15th urban security district in Oran have dismantled an illegal storage facility hidden within a private residential garage. The premises were used to store red and white meat under unsanitary conditions that violated health safety standards. The operation, coordinated with the public prosecutor and local trade and veterinary inspectors, led to the discovery of cold storage units containing food products unfit for human consumption. Seized items included expired seafood, shrimp of unknown origin, as well as frozen minced meat and sausages. An expired fire extinguisher was also confiscated during the search.
