Mila: 350 women benefit from breast cancer screening campaign

A medical campaign for the early detection of breast cancer took place in Mila, providing screening and advanced imaging services to 350 women. Held at the 'Frères Meghlaoui' hospital, the initiative was organized by the Ministry of Health and the Amal Association, aligning with Pink October activities. The program included medical analyses and the referral of cases requiring further treatment to specialized departments, alongside awareness sessions for the participants. Additionally, a specialized training day was conducted for local doctors, midwives, and paramedical staff to enhance professional skills and care quality. This event is part of a nationwide effort, with over 36 caravans organized across the country to improve public access to essential screening services.
