Minister of State and Minister of Hydrocarbons, Mohamed Arkab, and Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjal, are attending the Energy Week in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, running from October 11 to 15, 2026. Invited by the Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, the Algerian delegation joins global energy leaders and experts to discuss sector challenges. The program features the 17th Ministerial Meeting of the International Energy Forum (IEF17) and the 25th World Petroleum and Energy Congress (WPC Energy). Through this participation, Algeria seeks to enhance its international presence, strengthen cooperation with producers and consumers, and address key issues such as energy security, market stability, and technological innovation. Algeria’s active involvement is significant given its status as a permanent member of the forum's executive board and its ongoing role in fostering global energy dialogue.
