The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, carried out a partial reshuffle within the corps of provincial governors on Tuesday, as announced by the Presidency. The decision involves the transfer of Riadh Benahmed to the wilaya of Aflou, Yousef Bechlaoui to Batna, Mohamed Meziane to Bejaia, and Kamel Nouicer to Tlemcen. Additionally, new appointments were made: Abdelwahab Zini, former delegate governor of El-Harrach, is now the governor of El Tarf; Redouane Khelifa, formerly of Bab El Oued, has been appointed governor of Bordj Bou Arreridj; and Omar Boutahraoui, previously Secretary General of Oum El Bouaghi, has been named governor of Barika.
