A young man in his twenties appeared before the Cheraga court to face charges of failing to comply with security personnel. The incident occurred near the State residence in Staoueli, where the defendant rode his motorcycle through two security checkpoints despite being ordered to stop. During the hearing, the accused claimed he was unfamiliar with the area and was trying to visit a friend when he lost his way, leading to a collision with the second barrier. His defense attorney argued that the act was not intentional or a premeditated challenge to the authorities, seeking his acquittal. Conversely, the public prosecutor requested a one-year prison sentence and a fine of 100,000 DZD.
