Authorities in Tipaza province have announced a temporary closure of the highway section between Bou Ismail and Cherchell. Traffic will be suspended from 9:00 PM tonight until 6:00 AM on Friday morning. The closure is required to facilitate the installation of bridge supports for the new interchange project leading to the University of Tipaza. Motorists are directed to divert from the Sidi Rached interchange onto National Road No. 11, passing through the city center of Tipaza before reconnecting to the highway via the western interchange of Chenoua. The local administration apologized for the inconvenience and urged road users to exercise caution.
