At the headquarters of the Real Estate Promotion and Management Office (OPGI) in Jijel, an agreement was signed this Saturday between eight offices and the National Housing Bank to fund the rebuilding of homes affected by the late August forest fires. Mohamed Merjani, Director General of Housing at the Ministry of Housing, noted that this process follows the directives of the President of the Republic to provide comprehensive support to those impacted. The agreement ensures that 627 families, whose homes are classified as 'red,' will have their properties rebuilt by the OPGI. Furthermore, the necessary funds have been secured for the restoration of homes classified as 'green' or 'orange.' Additionally, a financial grant of 400,000 DZD has been allocated to each affected family to assist with rental costs during the construction phase, with an emphasis on ensuring the new structures match the region's nature.
