The Constantine Provincial People's Assembly has approved the preliminary budget for 2027, totaling over 293 billion centimes, with approximately 100 billion centimes earmarked for equipment and investment projects. During the session, Governor Kamel-Eddine Kerbouche announced the resumption of construction on the right tube of the Djebel El Ouahch tunnel, which had been suspended for years, supported by a 400-billion-centime budget. Additionally, officials confirmed that the Ziadia tunnel project is expected to be completed by December. The governor also addressed plans to optimize public assets to boost local revenues and highlighted ongoing efforts to improve educational, sports, and cemetery infrastructure across the region.
