President Tebboune to Meet Business Leaders to Drive 2027 Economic Goals

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune will meet with representatives of the business community tomorrow at the International Conference Center in Algiers, following an initiative by the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA). The meeting aims to strengthen the private sector's role in reducing the nation's reliance on hydrocarbons. President Tebboune recently noted that Algeria’s economic growth rate stands between 4.01% and 4.02%, exceeding IMF projections. By prioritizing manufacturing, mining, and electronics, the country seeks to ensure a stable flow of foreign currency and maintain reserve levels through 2031. This discussion occurs as the 2027 Finance Bill, which emphasizes productive investment, moves through the legislative process toward implementation.
