President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stated that Algeria has ceased importing gasoline since 2023 and has now secured a reserve of kerosene. He highlighted that domestic medicine production now meets 84% of national needs, a significant increase from 10% five years ago. Regarding the industrial sector, the President announced plans to manufacture a fully Algerian-made vehicle by the end of 2028. Additionally, he noted that the country has reached the status of the third-largest economy in Africa.
