This Thursday, CS Constantine captain Brahim Dib and CR Témouchent defender Lahcène Bouziane are set to appear before the Professional Football League’s appeals commission. Both players are challenging the penalties previously handed down by the disciplinary committee. Dib was originally suspended for 8 matches and fined 500,000 DA for his conduct toward the referee during the match against ES Sétif, while Bouziane received a 6-match ban and a 300,000 DA fine for an obscene gesture toward fans. These proceedings occur under the updated disciplinary regulations, which now feature 128 articles and have introduced stricter sanctions, alongside new rules allowing appeals for suspensions starting from three matches.
