Nigerien trainees praise Algerian expertise in managing water infrastructure
The vocational training directorate in Tamanrasset organized a field visit for Nigerien trainees specializing in plumbing and gas at the Ibn Rochd center to the sixth pumping station of the Algerian Water Company. This visit allowed the students to gain firsthand experience in the management and maintenance of sensitive technical facilities. The trainees expressed admiration for the fact that the station is operated entirely by Algerian engineers and technicians, without any reliance on foreign expertise. This initiative, part of the Algerian-Nigerien cooperation, bridged the gap between theory and practice, helping the students recognize the effectiveness of local human resources in managing vital infrastructure.
