Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, chaired a coordination meeting focused on drafting a bill to regulate construction and development standards in forest environments. This initiative follows directives from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, issued after the forest fires that affected several central and eastern provinces last August. The project aims to establish specific technical requirements for buildings and urban planning in interface zones, with the primary goal of enhancing fire prevention systems and ensuring the safety of citizens and their property.
