Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has described the upcoming El Clasico against Barcelona as an exceptional showdown, distinct from any other match played this season. He stated that past achievements hold no weight in this rivalry and expressed his ambition to secure a victory. Regarding the visit to the Camp Nou, the Portuguese manager downplayed the pressure, insisting that while the Catalan side is high-quality, there is no need for excessive hype. He also remarked that comparing his team, which is still undergoing development, to the current Barcelona side is unfair. On the topic of Barcelona’s morale following their Champions League defeat, Mourinho doubted that a single loss would impact their confidence. Commenting on the leaked appointment of referee Munuera, he expressed surprise at the breach of protocol rather than any concern about the specific official chosen. The match is scheduled for Sunday at 9 PM, with Barcelona leading the La Liga table with 27 points, while Real Madrid sits in third place with 21 points.
