Algiers is preparing to host the 5th edition of the African Startup Conference, scheduled for December 5th to 7th. Held under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the event was recently the subject of a preparatory meeting led by Noureddine Ouadah, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, with African ambassadors and international representatives. Centered on the theme "Deeptech: A Real Challenge," the conference will highlight the importance of advanced technologies in accelerating innovation and development across the continent. Discussions will focus on boosting investment in scientific research to support specialized startups, ultimately aiming to strengthen Africa's technological sovereignty.
