The urban crime unit of the fifth police district in Tissemsilt has apprehended four individuals suspected of operating a network for the distribution of psychotropic drugs. The operation led to the seizure of 105 capsules of 300mg pregabalin. Authorities initiated the action following intelligence regarding suspicious activities involving the sale of substances to local youth. Upon surveillance and coordination with the local prosecutor, the suspects were stopped while in a vehicle. A search revealed the hidden drugs, 5,000 Algerian dinars in alleged proceeds from sales, and four mobile phones. Following the investigation, all suspects have been referred to the relevant judicial authorities.
