Algeria and the European Union have initiated preparatory meetings for a 60-month partnership program named « EU–Algeria for Business ». Managed with technical assistance from the International Trade Centre, the initiative seeks to foster investment, streamline trade, and improve the business climate. The program is built upon three main objectives: facilitating investment and partnerships, digitalizing trade and customs procedures to reduce operational costs, and assisting local businesses in meeting European quality and environmental standards. During the opening session led by the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), officials emphasized the importance of establishing measurable goals to effectively support Algerian companies in their access to regional and international markets.
