A new executive decree has been published in the Official Gazette, setting the rules for the accreditation, operation, and supervision of private schools. The regulation mandates the strict use of national educational curricula and strictly prohibits the teaching of foreign programs. Schools may introduce additional pedagogical activities only with prior authorization from the Minister of National Education. Furthermore, private institutions are now required to sign a formal schooling contract with parents, outlining the rights and duties of both parties, school services such as transport and catering, and conflict resolution procedures. Tuition fees must be disclosed at least three months before the start of each school year.
