The Sahrawi people celebrated the 51st anniversary of the National Unity proclamation, which took place on October 12, 1975, in Aïn Bentili. In a commemorative speech, President Brahim Ghali emphasized that this unity remains the foundation for protecting Sahrawi identity and sustaining the struggle for independence. He described the unity under the Polisario Front as a crucial shield against division. Events in the Aousserd refugee camp featured demonstrations in support of political prisoners held in Moroccan jails, with calls for international intervention. Amid ongoing conflict since the 2020 ceasefire breakdown, the population continues to uphold its resistance across military, diplomatic, and legal fronts, reiterating their resolve to achieve self-determination and full sovereignty.
