Police forces in Algiers have dismantled a criminal gang specialized in stealing vehicle doors. Following reports from citizens who had their car parts stolen overnight, the major crimes division successfully identified and arrested three individuals, including a woman. Operations led to the recovery of 11 stolen vehicle doors and the seizure of two vehicles used during the criminal acts. The police also confiscated burglary tools, a metal engraving machine used for forging chassis numbers, counterfeit license plates, and cash generated from the illicit activities. The suspects were brought before the public prosecutor at the Hussein Dey court.
