MC Alger has successfully advanced to the group stage of the CAF Champions League after a convincing 3-0 victory against Nigeria's Enugu Rangers on Friday at the Ali Ammar Stadium in Douéra, overcoming a deficit from the first leg. This achievement guarantees the Algerian club a prize of at least $700,000 from the Confederation of African Football. The group stage draw is scheduled for October 28, with MC Alger joining other confirmed teams like Young Africans and Petro Atletico. The team is now shifting its focus to an upcoming local league match against US Biskra this Tuesday. Meanwhile, discussions regarding the future of coach Khaled Ben Yahia remain ongoing, with no final decision expected before the Biskra fixture.
