Launch of the 6th National Environmental Journalism Competition

The sixth edition of the National Environmental Journalism Competition (CNJE 2026) was launched this Monday under the patronage of the Minister of Communication. This year's event focuses on the theme "Forest, biodiversity, and ecosystems: rebuilding after the fire," carrying the slogan "From the ashes, life returns." The competition emphasizes the aftermath of forest fires, encouraging media coverage of vegetation renewal, ecosystem restoration, and biodiversity protection. Journalists from print, digital, television, and radio media are invited to submit their work. The organizing committee has set December 5, 2026, as the deadline for submissions. Participants must send their entries via email, ensuring they include their full name, media organization, phone number, and a link or copy of their journalistic work.
