The Algerian Desalination Water Company, a subsidiary of Sonatrach, has scheduled a technical shutdown for the Fouka 2 desalination plant from October 18 to 22 to conduct annual maintenance. The company stated that the operation was postponed by one week at the request of the Algerian Water Company due to ongoing network repairs in the Boumerdes province. Furthermore, temporary outages were recorded at the Corso and Cap Djinet 2 plants, with the latter resuming operations on October 16. These maintenance efforts are coordinated to ensure the long-term operational readiness of facilities and the consistent delivery of drinking water to the public.
