Olympic gymnastics champion Kaylia Nemour has opened up about the difficulties she encountered following her decision to compete for Algeria. Speaking on the "ORIGINS" program, Nemour explained that she faced hostility and misunderstanding after changing her sporting nationality, despite receiving support from some quarters. She also shared her disappointment upon returning to her club in France following her gold medal win at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Expecting a warm welcome from her peers, she was instead met with cold indifference, leaving her to simply resume her training routine. Nemour is currently preparing for the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Rotterdam.
