The vehicle theft unit of the Bouira security services has dismantled an organized criminal network consisting of five individuals, including two women, involved in vehicle thefts across central provinces. The operation followed reports of one stolen car and three attempted thefts in the areas of Lakhdaria and Kadiria. Investigations led authorities to arrest the suspects in a coastal province. The police recovered two vehicles and seized tools used for vehicle theft, while three additional cars were seized for suspected links to money laundering and concealment of criminal proceeds. The suspects have been brought before the public prosecutor at the Lakhdaria court.
