The Ministry of Mujahideen and Rights Holders has announced that a minute of silence will be observed this Saturday at 11:00 AM to honor the memory of those who fell during the massacres of October 17, 1961. Following the directive of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and in accordance with Presidential Decree 21-392, this act of remembrance seeks to acknowledge the sacrifices and contributions of the Algerian community living abroad to the national liberation movement. The tribute will take place across the entire country and at all Algerian diplomatic and consular missions abroad.
