On Tuesday in Oran, the Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Nassima Benharrats, inaugurated the Center of Excellence in Mechatronics in Belgaid. The event included the signing of a cooperation agreement between the center and the Vehicle Industry Development Corporation (EDIV), under the Ministry of National Defense. This partnership seeks to enhance expertise sharing in vehicle maintenance and production, aligning trainee skills with the requirements of the labor market. Additionally, the minister announced the adoption of international quality standards (ISO 21001) to modernize the vocational training system, following an evaluation process involving 11 pilot institutions across the country.
