In preparation for the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, scheduled from October 31 to November 13, 2026, Qatar has provided Senegal with 15 buses and various security equipment. This contribution supports the host nation in organizing the first Olympic event ever held on African soil. The Qatari Ambassador to Senegal, Youssef Shaban Ibrahim Al Sada, stated that this cooperation is rooted in the strong relations between the two nations. By sharing the expertise gained from hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar aims to assist Senegal, reinforcing the belief that sports act as a bridge for international collaboration.
