The Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), Omar Rekkache, met with the head of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Jang Myoungchul, in Algiers to coordinate the upcoming Algerian-South Korean Economic Forum scheduled for November. The meeting focused on improving the business climate and attracting new investments across various sectors. The South Korean official noted that interest from Korean firms, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the Algerian market is rising. Rekkache reaffirmed AAPI’s commitment to supporting Korean companies and fostering industrial partnerships. Both parties emphasized the value of utilizing the success of existing Korean firms in Algeria as a catalyst for future economic cooperation.
