The first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup's second preliminary round between CR Belouizdad and the Mauritanian club FC Douanes has been officially postponed until November. This move follows an urgent ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) regarding a legal dispute between FC Douanes and Guinea’s Hafia Conakry. The controversy stems from the previous round, where the Guinean club challenged the eligibility of the Mauritanian team due to travel delays. While the Algerian side had already traveled to Nouakchott and completed their preparations, they must now reschedule their activities until the sports authorities resolve the ongoing litigation.
