Algerian woman recounts survival following Riyadh airport explosion

Chifa Boudar, an Algerian woman who was on a business trip, has detailed the terrifying moments following an explosion at Riyadh airport. While waiting in the third terminal, she was severely injured in her left leg amidst the ensuing panic, smoke, and power outage. A bystander who identified himself as a doctor provided initial first aid before she was hospitalized. According to Dr. Abdelaziz Al-Hindi, the consultant surgeon overseeing her care, the injury involved significant muscle and tissue damage that risked amputation. Through a series of coordinated surgical procedures involving bone and vascular specialists, doctors were able to save her leg. Boudar remains hopeful for a full recovery and regained mobility through ongoing medical treatment and rehabilitation.
