Algerian security services have successfully neutralized a destabilization plot targeting the nation's security. A group of 61 Moroccan nationals, including a former member of the royal forces, was apprehended while attempting to carry out sabotage operations from Tunisian territory. The Algerian police authority confirmed that the intrusion was thwarted due to the high level of alertness of security forces, who remain well-equipped to handle such threats based on their extensive experience. The operation, which failed to achieve its objectives, also aimed to create friction between Algeria and its neighbor Tunisia, but the attempt was ultimately unsuccessful in undermining the long-standing stability of the region.
