Leadership changes at the ports of Arzew and Ghazaouet

New appointments have been made at the helm of the port companies of Arzew and Ghazaouet. Riad Hedjal has been officially installed as the new director general of the Arzew port, replacing Kaidari Bensalem, while Aman Eddine Khaled Bouabida has taken over as the new director general of the Ghazaouet port. The Ministry of Transport stated that these changes are intended to foster a new management dynamic and enhance operational performance. Arzew, a critical hub for hydrocarbon exports, has recently completed expansion works worth 45 billion dinars, fully funded by the company's own budget. Additionally, Ali Boularès, CEO of the Serport group, announced that 60 billion dinars have been allocated for the equipment and modernization programs of Algerian ports for 2025 and 2026.
