Algiers Province participated in the Global Mayors Forum held in Luoyang, China, from October 9 to 11, focusing on the preservation of cultural heritage. Representing Algiers Wali Mohamed Abdennour Rabehi, the delegated wali of Draria, Nachida Belhawan, highlighted the local government's efforts to safeguard tangible and intangible heritage, particularly the historic Casbah. She also presented the strategic vision for the city's modernization, including the "White Plan" dedicated to enhancing urban spaces. This attendance aims to strengthen the twinning agreement with the Henan province and promote international cooperation in urban planning and sustainable development.
