The Ministry of Health has officially introduced a pilot telemedicine program in the province of Oran. Linked to the electronic medical record system, this initiative facilitates remote cooperation between healthcare institutions in Oran and those in the Deep South. By enabling local doctors to consult with specialists and university researchers remotely, the service eliminates the need for patients to travel for specialized care. The project also utilizes artificial intelligence and chatbot technology to assist medical staff in analyzing patient data and providing precise clinical recommendations. The system is set to evolve, eventually allowing patients to book video or telephone consultations with specialists directly through certified digital platforms.
