During a work visit to the United States from October 12 to 16, Sonatrach CEO Noureddine Daoudi held strategic meetings in Houston with executives from Baker Hughes and KBR. These discussions focused on advancing cooperation in energy technologies, engineering innovation, and industrial project development. With Baker Hughes, the talks highlighted advancements in drilling, well optimization, and the integration of artificial intelligence and digital transformation within the hydrocarbon sector, referencing the ongoing gas pressure reinforcement project at Hassi R'Mel. Meanwhile, the session with KBR explored collaboration opportunities in upstream oil and gas activities. KBR presented its expertise in clean energy technologies, ammonia production, and operational excellence through AI-driven management. These efforts reflect Sonatrach’s strategy to leverage international expertise to enhance the performance and modernization of Algeria's energy industry.
