Led by CEO Nour Eddine Daoudi, a high-level Sonatrach delegation visited the United States from October 12 to 16 to strengthen partnerships with key energy players. The meetings with ExxonMobil focused on advancing their May 2024 agreement, with a particular emphasis on exploration potential in the Ahnet and Gourara basins. Discussions with Halliburton highlighted a long-standing collaboration in digitalization and AI, aiming to deploy advanced drilling technologies to enhance production in mature fields like Hassi Messaoud, alongside ongoing support for Algerian academic training. Additionally, the delegation met with Devon Energy to discuss potential new ventures in upstream exploration and production. Through these engagements, Sonatrach aims to leverage global expertise, foster technology transfer, and sustainably develop Algeria's hydrocarbon resources.
