Algerian woman recounts harrowing ordeal in Riyadh airport attack
Chafa Boudar, an Algerian expatriate residing in Saudi Arabia for three decades, sustained serious injuries during a Houthi attack on King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh on October 10. The incident, which occurred as she was departing for Medina, resulted in 13 fatalities and over 300 injuries. Boudar described witnessing horrific scenes of destruction and casualties while waiting in the terminal. Following her admission to the hospital, surgeons successfully performed two operations to save her left leg from amputation. A third surgery is scheduled, with medical staff confirming that she is expected to regain the ability to walk. This attack follows the death of another Algerian citizen in a separate strike on Abha airport on October 7.
