The mobile customs brigade of Batna, in coordination with the National People's Army, has thwarted a major drug smuggling attempt. The operation resulted in the seizure of 59,850 pregabalin tablets (300 mg) and the confiscation of the vehicle used for the transport. One individual was arrested and has been referred to the judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
