Member of Parliament intervenes as Algerians face harassment at Nigerian airport
Abdelmalek Cherifi, a member of parliament representing the Algerian diaspora, has intervened to assist a group of Algerian citizens who faced difficulties while traveling from Nigeria to England. According to reports received by the MP, the citizens were harassed by Nigerian border police, which led to their detention and the missing of their scheduled flight. Upon receiving the complaint, the MP established direct contact with the affected individuals and formally requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Algerian Embassy in Nigeria, to address the matter. The MP continued to oversee the case until he verified that all necessary procedures were completed, ensuring the citizens were able to board their flight to England.
