A multi-disciplinary medical team from the Oran University Hospital has arrived in Ghardaïa, where they were received by the local wali, Abdellah Abi Nawar, at Moufdi Zakaria International Airport. Led by Professor Boubeker Mohamed, the team is set to conduct medical activities from October 25 to 30, 2026. The mission will cover four hospitals across the province, specifically in Ghardaïa, Berriane, Guerrara, and Metlili. The specialists will perform specialized examinations and complex surgical procedures in six fields, including pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and internal medicine, aiming to enhance healthcare services and support for local patients.
