The Algiers Water and Sanitation Company (SEAAL) has launched maintenance works on the drinking water network, resulting in temporary supply disruptions across various municipalities in the western part of the capital. These scheduled works are expected to continue until the evening of Thursday, October 22. The affected areas include Sidi Abdallah, Mahelma, Rahmania, Zeralda, Staoueli, Chéraga, Ain Benian, Hammamet, Baba Hassen, Tessala Merdja, Saoula, Birkhadem, and specific neighborhoods within Gue de Constantine, Bouzareah, Beni Messous, Rais Hamidou, Bologhine, and Oued Koriche. The company stated that normal distribution will be restored gradually following the completion of the repairs and the refilling of major reservoirs.
